This month marks five years since I left the corporate marketing world and my position as a digital strategist in favor of being a full time content creator. 
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What started as a fun side hustle while I worked at a busy PR firm in NYC has transformed into a multiple six-figure business. Something that my younger self, the girl who grew up without wealth and worked several retail jobs to help pay for college, could never have imagined was possible. 
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In my blog post, I’m giving you an inside look at some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned while building this non-traditional career. From dealing with loneliness, creative burnouts, and crippling imposter syndrome, to the joys of hiring a team, dream partnerships, beautiful friendships, and connecting with over 150k people across multiple platforms.

This is your sign to romanticize (and treat yourself!) to an afternoon dessert and I couldn’t think of a better combo than @bubbies new ube mochi ice cream paired with an ube matcha latte! 💜🦄 It’s giving whimsical unicorn vibes and I’m totally here for it.

When I was a little girl, my mom would make mochi rice cakes for dessert and Bubbies mochi ice cream really brings up all those nostalgic memories – and also tastes so delicious! The outside is soft and chewy and the inside has premium ice cream made from real, natural ingredients. You can find the new ube flavor and even more fun flavors at your local Sprouts. 
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ube is a type of sweet potato and is known for its nutty, vanilla flavor and gorgeous purple color. 🍠 I added a 1⁄2 tsp of ube extract and a little sugar to oat milk in order to match my matcha to the mochi. I think it turned out so pretty!

My feet are back on dry land and I’m feeling especially grateful for the quality time B and I got to spend on vacation with my family. It’s hard to share my favorite parts in just 10 photos but I did my best to give you the highlights:

For the past few days I’ve been vacationing with my family to celebrate my grandma’s 80th bday and I don’t think my screen time has ever been this low. Most of my mornings have looked like this — an iced latte and walk through “Central Park” followed by a workout, fresh juice (this one is apple, carrot, lemon, ginger🥕🍋) and lots of time sunbathing + reading. 
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m a big believer that when it comes to vacations there’s no right or wrong approach to maintaining #healthyhabits. Meaning, if you want to take a true rest and indulge that’s great!! The nice thing is that my #morningroutine has become such a big part of my lifestyle that it feels really nice to continue it even when I’m traveling.

When I was a little girl, my mom would make mochi rice cakes for dessert and Bubbies mochi ice cream really brings up all those nostalgic memories – and also tastes so delicious! The outside is soft and chewy and the inside has premium ice cream made from real, natural ingredients. You can find the new ube flavor and even more fun flavors at your local Sprouts.

Ube is a type of sweet potato and is known for its nutty, vanilla flavor and gorgeous purple color. 🍠 I added a 1⁄2 tsp of ube extract and a little sugar to oat milk in order to match my matcha to the mochi. I think it turned out so pretty!

My feet are back on dry land and I’m feeling especially grateful for the quality time B and I got to spend on vacation with my family. It’s hard to share my favorite parts in just 10 photos but I did my best to give you the highlights:

For the past few days I’ve been vacationing with my family to celebrate my grandma’s 80th bday and I don’t think my screen time has ever been this low. Most of my mornings have looked like this — an iced latte and walk through “Central Park” followed by a workout, fresh juice (this one is apple, carrot, lemon, ginger🥕🍋) and lots of time sunbathing + reading.

I’m a big believer that when it comes to vacations there’s no right or wrong approach to maintaining #healthyhabits. Meaning, if you want to take a true rest and indulge that’s great!! The nice thing is that my #morningroutine has become such a big part of my lifestyle that it feels really nice to continue it even when I’m traveling.
